The New Church at Boynton Beach is a New Church congregation and offers worship services, programs and activities.
The New Church , a new Christianity, teaches that there is one God whom we know as the Lord God Jesus Christ. We believe that God created the universe and everything in it so that He could share His love with us and bless us with happiness. Religion is to be lived, not just believed, for its purpose is to connect not only our thoughts but our whole life to God. That's what gives the greatest fulfillment and happiness.
The New Church is based on the teachings of the Lord's Word (the Bible) as illuminated by a new revelation given by the Lord through Emanuel Swedenborg. Swedenborg testified that the Lord called him to receive and publish the teachings for a new era of Christianity. These teachings unlock the Bible's inner meaning which is all about God, spiritual development and eternal life. They bring inspiration, enlightenment, and hope to all areas of spiritual life--from understanding God to transforming marriage, from comprehending tragedy to bringing peace about our life after death.
We at the New Church have found such satisfaction and peace in these teachings, that it is our deep desire to share them with you.
